Lauren Venable

I am a full-time student at Loyola University Chicago majoring in Studio Art: Drawing and Painting. While I enjoy experimenting with new mediums, I create with mixed media, primarily charcoal, acrylic, and recycled materials. Recently, I have pulled inspiration from my personal life, particularly the formation of new relationships and my struggles with mental health. My work has been shown in the Randolph Arnold Gallery at Loyola University Chicago in early 2021 and the Dubuque Museum of Art in late 2021. In the summer of 2019, I attended the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design’s Pre-College Program and enrolled in Graphic Design and Interior Architecture and Design. This allowed my to further explore other artistic areas and expand her artistic knowledge.
